I Surprised My Daughter With A Motorcycle For Christmas!
I spent weeks planning the ultimate Christmas surprise for my daughter: a new (to her) Yamaha XT225 motorcycle hidden in the shed for her to discover on Christmas morning! I knew that I wanted to create the ultimate 2021 Christmas surprise for my 14 year old daughter, so a few weeks before Christmas I drove to Portland to pick up a 2006 Yamaha XT225 that was owned by a friend of a friend. After buying the bike and sneaking it back to a friend’s house to hide for a few weeks, I brought it home a few days before Christmas to clean it up and swap out a few parts (huge thanks to our friends at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC for hooking us up with a whole box of great stuff for the new dual sport bike!). Afterward, I hid the Yamaha XT225 in the shed behind our house and put together a box with a clue inside that would lead Lil’ Dork to her surprise Christmas present on Christmas morning.
Finally, the big day arrived and she opened the box before reading the clue and heading out to the shed to discover a “whole motorcycle” Christmas surprise gift! Her reaction was amazing and I’m beyond excited that I was able to capture it on camera and share it with all of you!
